The Association established the Vis Moot program with the support of and in coordination with the Commercial Law Development Program of the U.S. Department of Commerce (CLDP). The program gathers the law faculties in BiH, providing the faculty with financial and subject matter support to allow them to prepare their students effectively for the competition. Thus far, over 100 students have participated in the program, and have continued their career in either practice or academia.
In 2017, the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica placed 9th, and in 2018 it placed 3rd out of 375 participating teams in the competition. The amazing success of the Zenica Law Faculty is not only a confirmation of the unique talent in BiH, but also a demonstration of the success of the program in building the relevant know-how and capacity in educating a new generation of lawyers well-versed in the field of international commercial arbitration and international commercial law.
